Apache Forrest on Ubuntu
21Dec2007 Filed under: Gerneral Author: xhochy In the last time I had to documentate a lot of stuff, while searching for a fitting tool, I came to Apache Forrest. Beside that this is a nice tool, like most java programs sadly there isn’t an Ubuntu package available. The installation process is simple, but if you have to do it on 10+ computers, it gets annoying, so I created a (my first) deb-package for it. It is available through my APT repositority (see previous post) in the thirdparty section.

Thanks for your valuable contribution to Forrest as an open source project.
For it to be even more valuable perhaps you could contribute the necessary config files and docs to the Forrest project. That way official releases can be made in .deb format.
